Children's Dental Health Month 2016 |
Give Kids A Smile Day was Friday February 5th at the Erie County Health Department. Dr. Stefano partnered again with Dr. Davis at the Erie County Health Department in their dental clinic. Together with other volunteers they saw about twenty children. They provided dental exams, x-rays, cleanings, restorations and extractions.
Also to support Children’s Dental Health Month, Stefano Dental team member, Brittany, went to Care & Share, which is a local social service organization in downtown Sandusky on February 18th. They read stories, handed out coloring pages, toothbrushes & paste, stickers, and healthy info brochures. We had such a good time talking about proper dental health for kids!

Smiles for Life 2016 |
Here is a chance for YOU to make a difference. Hundreds of dental practices throughout the U.S. and Canada professionally whiten teeth to raise money for seriously ill, disabled, and underprivileged children in their local communities and around the world. Fifty percent of the donations are earmarked for each dental practice’s local charity partner, and the balance goes to the Smiles For Life Foundation to be distributed to worthy and approved children’s charities across the U.S., Canada and worldwide. Participating children’s charities include Children’s Miracle Network, Children of Romania, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, CURE (in Cambodia), Smiles for Hope, and the Kids Cancer Care Foundation.
For our fourth year, Stefano dental will be participating in the Smiles for Life campaign starting March 1st through June 30th with our half of the proceeds going locally to The Safe Harbor Domestic Violence Shelter
Our custom bleaching system is regularly $419. Everything is being donated and the discounted fee to you is reduced to $200 for your donation today! 100% of the proceeds are donated!
If you choose not to bleach we've set a goal to raise at least $1,000 this year in additional donations, apart from the donations received through teeth whitening. Please consider donating at least $10 next time you visit our practice. For more information stop in or call us today, and also you may visit www.smilesforlife.org and our Facebook page. Also, on our friends on our Facebook page, if you like our Smiles for Life postings & share them with your friends your name will be entered to win a Sonicare Toothbrush! Side to Side Ohio Wide- Dr. Klassen |
Dr. Klassen and her husband, Brent, are running across the state of Ohio! They are now 13 weeks into their State-Wide 260 mile adventure and are absolutely loving every aspect of this journey! They are using this run as a platform to spread awareness and support to all those affected by Autism.
One thing that has been standing out week after week is the love and support that they are getting from their family, friends, and friends-to-be. Dr. Klassen and her husband have been showered with so much encouragement, and they want their boys and all the individuals that they are running for to feel some of this love. In order to help make that happen, they have organized a “Light It Up Blue Run, Walk, Wheel, Push or Carry” on April 2 which is National Autism Awareness Day. For a quarter mile stretch of their 260 mile journey, they are inviting all children and individuals with Autism or Special Needs to join in their adventure. Although this event is only asking children and individuals with Special Needs to run, walk, wheel, push or carry, they would love for as many people as possible to come and cheer on these heroes. “Light It Up Blue” is a world-wide event in which thousands of buildings and homes across the globe will literally be lit in blue lights in order to spread the awareness of autism and to celebrate and honor the unique talents and skills of people with autism. To follow Dr. Klassen and her families’ journey or to learn how to participate in the Light It Up Blue Run in Woodville, Ohio, visit their website www.side2sideohiowide.com
